Does it work for you? How much do you ride?

Im going to start that real soon. I just bought a Mongoose XR-150 for $100 on sale at walmart.
This bike is really sweet. I plan on doing several miles around town at night after work plus doing some out of town trips on the weekends for the offroading.

I'm buying one soon too to get back in shape. It seemed like it helped me when i used to race as far as my endurance and preventing leg burn.

Are full suspension bikes any good?

My second love after quadding is mtn biking. I have a Trek 8000 with quite a few aftermarket parts. Well worth the $1,500 I saved up for it. In the summer I try to slit my time 50/50 between the Raptor and the Trek. It is a great way to get in shape and the trails are endless around here. Plus, there is the satisfaction that I am the best rider in my group with one of the nicest bikes with the skill to back it up :D

i have a Norco VPS Shore (last years model) with about $1500 extra worth of upgrades into it. well worth it considering i can hop off my roof and feel nothin upon landing (15 feet or so str8 down) and it helpds you get in shape. i also have a hardtail mtn bike that i do 15 kms on every morning before school year round. it has studded tires on it right now for the winter it weighs in at around 24lbs or so. but my VPS is heavy lol its not meant to go up hills.

Oh yeah, pound for pound probably the best training you can do. Get out and ride the same trails you ride your quad on.
I ride a Cannonadal with front Rock shox and rigid rear.
The rear suspension is great for down hill but it works you harder on the cross country trails.

Just bought mine. Weighing in at 260, I opted for the hardtail style, but Rock Shox up front.

I warm up then try to do about 30 minutes of sprinting as much as i can take. It's really tough at first, but soon get's easier, and helps riding endurance greatly on quad rides!:macho :)

I have a specialized Rockhopper, it has Manitou's. I am planning on getting Bombers for it. But I might just get a Rocky Mountain Hardtail. I also have a Specialized Enduro with Manitou's. I race at Hardwood Hills near my house. Its sweet they have dual Slalom, Downhill, Cross Country, Trials, and BMX downhill.

Its hard having two expensive sports, when your parents wont give you any money. I am always debating on what I should spend my money on, the quad or the bike. I think this year the Quad is gunna get the TLC.
