Got a couple freshly chromed kickers, $90 shipped each. They are very tight, and click and latch perfectly. In my opinion, by far better than the billet ones.

PM's returned.

If someone wants a cheaper chrome one, I have a used one on my Laeger that's still nice. Show chrome isn't cheap these days.

There's a couple of companies in the KC area, that do good work, both are pricey but worth it. Here's a before and after of some parts I had done.

What was the price of the arms, stem and subframe to have done? is it race chrome?

Pricing is determined by the quality of your parts, and I am not in a position to provide quotes. Obviously bare parts are cheaper, since there is less polish work. Things to consider are: quality of parts, stripping time, polishing time, coating time, etc. These parts are basically show chrome, lots of polishing, nickel plating, chroming, etc.

After touring the facility, I now understand why chroming is so expensive and time consuming. In addition, lots of liability with solutions, etc.

just looking at the chrome (i used to work in a shop that did chrome work) i can tell it was done right a good polish job on the initial copper coat and bright nickel finish before the chrome.

im sure that was expensive =)
