Hey guys, I need some help with my tmaxx. After pissing with it for awhile and finally getting it running, electronics wont work!! So usually when you turn it on, on the truck all the things move and reset. Its got to be somethibg with the servo. I put new batteries in everything. This really makes me mad, my dad just mowed and i wanna go tear up some fresh grass!!

the one before the 2.5. this is one of the very first t maxxs came out. my grandpa bought it as soon as it came out, drove it twice bought a lot of parts for it then parked it for like 10 years and gave it to me last summer in form of payment for 3days of work. i was looking at buying one my dad always had one. my buddies got an e maxx to, it runs good so i might do the conversion

Yeah these days electric is the way to go, they will run just as fast if not faster with less headache. The lipo batteries made it possible, instead of buying gas you can invest in 2 or 3 batteries and run forever

I had a pro .15 in my stampede and it was a beezy to tune.

u just gotta learn how to tune it dude. i can get my GT tuned in completely by ear in about 30 seconds, but i hardly ever have to touch the needles anyway

i have a brushless buggy on lipo too, but the gas is way more fun to drive

tunings not a problem. its everything else, the cost of glow plugs and the amount it goes through, fuel, to top it all off i think my starters going bad. and the glow plug wire is about shot, it doesnt want to stay on no matter how hard i clamp i t down and when it comes off turns the whole t maxx off, plus the wires keep coming off the prongs on the starter and the motors probably gonna **** the bed soon enough. ill put a 2.5 in it then or just go electric.

sounds like your whole truck is just worn out and tired. of course your experience with nitro is gonna be hell when youve got a beat up truck

btw, to go electric, a brushless motor and esc is gonna be a couple hundred, a lipo charger will be around 100 bucks, a good lipo battery will be 50 bucks or more...electris crap is expensive. and electrics have problems to. my electric the gears grind sometimes, and it will slip real bad out of nowhere, even when the spur and diff can't be tightened any more. my nitro, i never have any of those problems
