Just A Little Question

Hey,My friend has a 1998 Honda Recon and he just seized the engine today. I wanted to know what he should do?Boar it out or leave is stock size? The conditions are that he ride wit 2 Yamaha Blasters,a 400ex,300ex and a lt250r. He really wnats to be able to keep up wit us and hes gettin a decked Warrior in the spring and i wanted to know if he should just fix and sell the recon and get the Warior or boar it out and ride this winter with us???

By just boring it out and replacing the piston the power difference from stock will not even be noticable. It would take lots of money to make that quad fast. I'd fix it and ride it, or then sell it if you really want a faster quad. It's worth not much with a broken engine. Good luck.

The best thing he could do is just get a pipe, air filter, re-jet it.....But there is still no way a recon could keep up w/ those bikes.
