Does anyone know or remember if Honda (or Honda dealerships) sent out warning label stickers or applied them after the CPSC decree back in the day? You know, the typical no one under 16 and no passenger stuff they put on the front fenders today. I've come across a stock 88 with original fenders that has two stickers like that on the left front fender. They are definitely OEM fenders, but I've never seen them on a R before. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I bought a new 1988 Honda 250X (too scared of the R back then) and a few months after I owned it, Honda mailed those decals out with instructions to put them on the fenders. I still have the decals that they sent that I never used.
I suppose the new units on the floor had the stickers applied by the dealerships.
I would assume it was the same situation with the R you are looking at.

Thanks for the reply DoonRider. That's what I thought, but I wanted to make sure. I've never seen them on one before. Pretty cool that you kept the set they sent you.
