Shock Upgrades for Raptor 350?

My girlfriend is in the market for some new shocks for the front of her 2007 raptor 350. I found plenty of Works, Elka stage 1, and Fox floats on ebay for the $500-700 range. But i'm curious if there are on other factory swap-overs? YFZ shocks seem to be too long and put everything at too steep of an angle. Could you revalve/respring them to be not as tall? Or is there a possibility that 450r shocks would work?

Thought about calling Derisi Racing or GTThunder and seeing what they say.

Banshee is about it for the front ive tried getting yfz shortened but its not worth it. I ended up getting works for 300. Banshee or 01 raptor rear is a good upgrade, id recommend banshee

Yeah, thats kinda what it is starting to look like. Suck it up and do aftermarket shocks. How do you like the works shocks? Seem to be able to get them all day long with dual rates for around $500.

any experience with the fox float r's? looked at some elka stage 1's but dont seem to be that great for the price since they lack alot of adjustability.

I'm trying to get her to lean towards the fox floats.

i have 2 friends with floats on their warrior and they love them its like riding on a cloud bu idk im happy with works they dont roll as much

yeah ive heard they are like butter. Just alot of maintenance and adjusting. Ran a fox shock on my DH mountain bike and had the same issues. Rode great but was constantly adjusting air pressure.

What works shocks do you have? The only ones in the price range would be the stealer shocks.

Yep their black steeler triple rate but for this length of shock id recommend dual rate. Picked them up new looking for 300
