I just have a couple questions. Today I was just cleaning up the quad today. I took rims and tires off to clean up the rims a bit. I put a lot of elbow grease and soap into the rims, they cleaned up okay but am missing the shine. What do you guys use to clean up rims?

Another question is I noticed a grease zerk looking deal on the front breaks on both sides and have no idea what this is? I don't think its a zerk but could be wrong?

Thanks!

to make aluminum rims shine they need to polished, i use meguiars hot wheels polish. its good for aluminum copper and brass. works good.

and what you saw on your brake calipers were the bleeders. not grease fittings.

Wenol, its 40 bucks a can but the can lasts awhile and it will make things shine like crazy. Forget mothers, meguiers or whatever wenol is 10x better.

if i'm correct and i think i am stock rims have a clear coat layer protecting the aluminum. people have mentioned using paint stripper to get rid of it so they will polish up.
