About to start building another mini, this one for my 5 year old. I've acquired two more TaoTao's, plus all of the spare parts that I've picked up over the last year and a half. The old Moto 4 is starting to become a little too much for Avery to run due to it's lack of suspension. Will be extending the front end like I did with Ethans mini, them locating a wider axle, and I found a good set of Elkas on Craigslist for it, for 300 bucks!! Even though my guys aren't racers, and can't do much work on the machines yet, they enjoy the heck out of "helping"... Should be starting the teardown and fab this weekend. Maybe this time, I'll but a real Pitster motor, put that in Ethans ride, and little man can run Ethans old motor. Can't wait to get started again, will post some pics as we go along.

The two donors, side by side. The Tao Tao has a blown clutch, and wiring is trashed. Motor itself is good, runs like a top. The Baja, bad motor, perfect tires, good carrier and wiring harness. This one should be much easier than the one I built for Ethan. Will be looking for another set of nerfs here in the next couple weeks.

I got a set of weld-on a/c nerfs i would take 50.00 shipped for when your ready.

I got a guy that seen this post and he wants to buy the nerfs i have.I told him you had first shot at them.If you want then there yours but if not i don't want to miss a sell.Thanks

Wasn't able to get pics due to the lack of light, but did get about 80% done with Averys ride today. Arms widened, swingarm extended. Keihin 26mm and new battery. Got it fired up and let him do a little test ride, just to find that theres a broken gear in the case. Guess its a good thing I kept Ethans old motor. LOL

Got him up and running today. Threw on his helmet and had him cut a couple laps in the back yard, then blew the head gasket. New motor ordered LOL. Here's a shot of Ethan, and Avery on their rides. Averys is the blue one, Ethan is on the other one I built.
