plastics????

so i have an 03 400ex and i just finished rebuilding it/painting the frame, and everything else. all i need now is new plastics. I want white plastics. Where is the best place to get them at a decent price? or does anyone have some there tryna get rid off? Have heard some bad things about Maier plastics.

What bad things have you heard? You can also try Laker Customs and FullBore.

I have a set of Maier's on my 426 now and they're nice, I like them. They're beat to hell and I need new ones but they were nice at one point. I'm leaning toward the Laker Custom one's myself but now I'm stuck on what color I want, lol.

Older maier did have some fitment issues, but the new stuff fits nice. full bore makes nice stuff also. My maiers fit like oem.

I just bought the white carbon fiber plastics by maier on Ebay for both front and rear fenders, they were $400.00. I looked for used and couldn't find any and from what I've seen, they sell for 200-250 a piece.

i hearded that they faded really quick and they broke real easy. i mean i know its just plastic but they shouldnt break that easy. you have a to where you got the carbon fiber ones at??

I have rolled my bike a few times and mine are just fine. As for fading mine still look great.

Ive rolled into a pole backwards pretty hard, they didn't break or show any stress.

My rear plastics are a bit rigged, since its the newer style on older quad, but they are stout, i havn't noticed a bit of fading... and mines orange..
