what year rear shock is this?

Have a 450r rear shock here i dont know what year it is as i bought it to try n fit a custom 250r frame and cannot make it work due to the piggyback location.

06 up are longer than 04-05. Judging by the color of the spring, I'd say LE 08 up. But its pretty safe to say 06 up. Measure eye to eye and you will know for sure.

where the bottom of the shock mounts to the link. if its round its a 06- up shock. and its its boxed it 04-05. you have a 06-up shock.

also the resiviors are different u cant put an 06+ on an 04-05

Well sorry but that's a lie or you have been misinformed. I have a 06 on my 450 with a gtt revavle and a 06 swing arm. Great combo
