Hopefully I'll get it to a track before next weekend and get some pics in action and maybe a vid, it's not really finished yet, still gotta make kicker exstension to clear frame and its not wanting to take 3rd gear sometimes. Probably just a shift fork, no big deal really. It's a good way bit faster and stronger than my ltr which is saying a lot honestly. Im impressed. 88 cr250r from factory came with 43-47 hp and mine had vforce reeds, killer portwork from crank case up, chambered head (17cc) and yz piston with boost ports cut in it. Its peppy and responsive but only the track will tell the true story.

i say keep going with it i built one with a 250r frame an it was fast an as far as the vibes only a little when reving i neutral one u clicked it in gear they seem to go away an it was fast actually very fast i still have the motor an all the parts its a 03 if anybody wants to build one

How much? And like you said, little vibe in neutral but once its moving you dont notice it. Not the hand numbing vibrations like i was worried about.

I just built a 400ex drag bike with a 98 cr250 motor, it really is a fast and strong motor, Im surprised they didnt use it more atv's.

Looks sick man. I just grenaded the CR motor in my hybrid. About to start gearing up to put in a 97 RM motor. The older cr motor was BAAAAAAAD vibing.. Bone numbing after a mile...
