I BOUGHT A 400 EX,, 440 BIG BORE ,WE HAD TO PULL START IT,,BUT ONCE WARMED UP RAN FINE,,,I GOT IT HOME ,RODE IT ONCE AND NOW IT WON'T START,,,I'M GETTING VERY WEAK FIRE TO THE PLUG,,,,,,I CHECKED THE TIMEING ,EVERY THING IS RIGHT ON,,,,,GOOD COMPRESSION,,,,SEEMS TO BE GETTING FUEL,,,,HELP!!!

plug is probably just due to be replaced.

Replace it with a brand new plug and see what happens.

I REPLACED THE PLUG,,,,GET THIS """""",IT WON'T FIRE THRU A PLUG,IF YOU TAKE THE PLUG BOOT OFF AND STICK THE PLUG INTO THE WIRE,I HAVE VERY WEAK FIRE,,ITS RED AND BARELY ABLE TO SEE,,,,,I;VE CHANGED THE COIL,SAME THING,,,,IT ACTS ITS NOT GETTIN ENOUGH FIRE TO THE COIL.......I THINK I READ ON HERE SOMEWHERE,,THAT THERE SHOULD BE LIKE 50 AMPS GOING TO THE COIL,,,AND THE COIL,SENDS OUT 1500 AMP SPARK,,,ANY SUGGESTIONS ????

So it wont fire properly when you hit the start button?

1. Is the battery fully charged? Have you tried using jumper cables?
2. Are you sure the grounds are good
3. If it bump starts and runs fine your valves could be off
4. Stock CDI or aftermarket? Aftermarket sometimes do not work properly when the battery isnt fully charged or just dont work right period.

Also PLEASE DO NOT USE CAPS LOCK!
