Not sure the width of your trails but my wife runs Houser +2.25" a-arms with 4/1 rims. We only ride at Hatfield McCoy, Black Mountain, and a couple other public riding areas so width is never an issue. I am supposed to narrow the rear axle when she rides XC instead of the track but I never do. I just leave it at 50" wide in the rear.

I just converted my MX quad over to XC too and left the fully built Baldwin motor in it. I figured if I was going to get raped on selling it I might as well beat it up myself. If you sell yours (which looks great BTW), you won't get as far as you already are in building a XC quad with the money you get.

not sure what its worth because it all depends on your area, but nice looking quad.

Around my area maybe 3k. But most have been going for around $2500-$2800. Everything you listed below 2005 Honda 450r is worthless info to a new to the sport quad owner. They will find out they have a solid quad, But its not going to sell it any quicker. IMO keep it and convert it, Too nice of a quad to give away. Good luck either way

This is exactly why I haven't sold mine. I'd rather let it sit and look at it rather than sell it cheap as dog dirt.

Haha for sure.. People with stock shocks list their bikes for 5000+ as race ready lol.

I'd never take 3g for mine.. even 5 would be tough to take lol

if you sell it for anything less than $3.5k then you should probably just go out back and Old yeller yourself....

it is a 2005 and thats gett old, but you have nearly what the bikes worth invested in parts in the thing. dont short change yourself. sit on the bike, or just park it out.....dont jip yourself because everyone on the web these days is a cheap ***

Yep, the older 450's will bring almost as much stock as with all the goodies. That's why you always need to keep stock stuff around no matter how tempting it is to sell it.

in all reality if you have the time and patience you could keep running it on craigslist forever with a high sticker and some dope will come along with more cash than brains and buy it. has nothing to do with being a cheapass but has everything to do with i dont know who has owned this thing, what on earth they could have possibly done to it and have to assume the worst of everything on all fronts.we turn brand new fully built ktm525s and 450rs to scrap, completely totaled,in around 2 months.aftermarket parts add up to nothing more than someones personal preference.i've never met a built quad that totally worked for me.i have over 12,000 into my 02 400ex.the entire thing has been completely rebuilt including tranny, hotrod crank to valves, bearings aftermarket everything, the list goes on forever. if i were to sell it for 4000 i would consider myself extremely lucky.idk to each their own i guess.
