View Full Version : 400ex a-arms on a 300ex..

if i get 400ex aarms on my 300ex do i need to get a different pair of shocks? i have works dual rates.

measure them, how long are they? if there 14.5 inches your good, but if not your machine will sit a bit low

No, but they will need to be revalved and resprung to be wright!

u can revalve and respring works dual rates? how much does that cost?

it's not a good idea to go w/ the 400ex a-arms. I have heard from a lot of people who have broken the ball joints off of them on the 300 because the angles to the spindles aren't right. You could try and get the 400 spindles too.

i found a nice set of a arms for my 300 but i got a Q there +2 +1 250r a arms does the plus 1 not work good like on the 400ex or is it like the 250r where its better to have it?

I've got 400a-arms and shocks on my race quad and I beat the snot out of it. I have absolutely no complaints.

I also sell the bolt on upper shock mount to put your shocks in the right position.
