46 is dang near perfect.

You see alot of guys running stock ltr's that are 48-48.5

and most of the Pro's run right around 48.

46 should be awesome! I run somewhere around 46-47 front and around 48 rear. I don't really have any trouble

You may want to consider running 46 on the rear full time too.. having a wider rear end will cause the front end to push.

Ideally you want a tad wider in the front..

Run it open lol. If you have a good, clean filter it wont hurt it. And Personally I am running wider in the front right now.. but I like the rear wider. I feel more stable and a more comfortable ride.. I may have to switch back soon lol. Even tho it isnt ideal for racing

I put + 2's on mine hoping to make it a better MX'er but its still more narrow than i'd like. Maybe ill add +3's somewhere down the road.

It depends on the way the shocks are setup (obviously more preload lifts everything slightly), wheels and tires.

Generally an EX is 43.5-44" wide stock. So +2 is right about 46-47s.

For me I find the ideal width about 45.5 inches (+1 arms) so you can fit in tight spots.
