if somebody buys them 4 that price, they are RETARDED!!! i would be surprised to see them go for more than 600 to 800. even that is too much!!

they have been listed for some time now. I can't believe someone thinks those fenders are worth $5000

I could see them selling for 1500-2000 NOT 5000...lol

if he wants 5k i want 10k. lol. any interest? i am just saying, hard to believe someone trying to sell them for that much is crazy. if he gets that god bless him!! i am not willing to pay that much, someone may, just not me. yea, everything for the r is getting hard to find in oem condition, but try to sell a bike for what you get into it!! i know its a labor of love for us guys, but these bikes were meant to be ridden, not just looked at. that is my philosophy. to each their own!!

I bet he gets that for them eventually. If i was rich, and wanted a collection of 250r's i would spend the money to get OEM plastics that look like new so that my collection looked show room new.

If i where rich, i would have 1 250r from each year in OEM condition. So whats 5k when you are a millionaire?

He will get that money eventually due to supply and demand. That guy does not expect any common folk to buy those, just a collector that has more money than he cares to think about.

Let him sell them for that. Good for him, if he sold them for cheap, some one would buy them up, race cut them and run them on there trail quad and another set of rare OEM plastics will be gone.

My problem is witht he aftermarket plastics. They seem to be drying up slowly to.

Your completely insane. A stock un molested 250 brings about double that(10k). and that is to a diehard collector.

Guy said they have sentimental value to him..

Yes I have been called that before... but this is new in the box plastic never installed, not too many people in this world can say that.

Used fenders are worth 10% what new are. These will sell and I doubt they will ever see dirt.
The originals that are un restored sell for some high prices also that's why I'm holding on to #250. I bought it when I had a small collection and sold the rest but it's nice to have a complete original (unopened motor) and vin#250. This wil hopefully stay in a collection somewhere after it leaves me. But until then it will just get a 10 minute ride twice a year and sit safely stored away.

i bought 1 thing from him, took it out of the box, looked at it, and it went right back into the box and back to him. not even close to the condition he described. he did refund my whole purchase and shipping price fast though, with a few words...

he seems to be a love/hate guy. i won't buy anything from him again.

The only thing that could justify this insane price would be a full on Oem resto where money is no issue. There is something about a true Oem build that's more special then using reproduction stuff such as decals. Although, anyone choosing to restore or build a 100% Oem quad in mint condition is kind of cornered as far as options go. Personally I'd wait and snag the front and rear separately to end up way cheaper.
