Do you have any pics of the motor install? I've always thought about doing this to my ex. I love the power of the R's and get pretty use to the feel of one, but I'm just so much more comfortable on my ex. When I ride my buddy's R then switch back to my ex, it just feel more normal to me. Plus I've got so much $ wrap up in it that going to a R would but hard to do.

Is anything done to your 450 motor or is it stock? Also how much of a pain was to do?

I've been thinking about doing it with an EFI Crf450r engine since I got my 400ex, even back when I had my 450r it crossed my mind. It seems like it'd be really sick just really hard to fab everything to make it work, at least being young and not having any of the tools to do it. It'd be nice if they made kits for hybrids, like the kits people buy to build the Cr500AF's.

Haha thanks ya I'm not sure why I picked the ex. It was always going to be an ex or r. Never owned a 400 and always wanted to so I bought a frame and a motor I wanted and went from there:cool:

Ya a kit would be nice make things a lot quicker. Ya I really dont have any tools and was on a budget. I just borrowed my friends welder and grinder/cutter and went to work. I'm happy with it overall tho.
