Well me and one of my buddies are gonna start to build two hybrids during our off season of work, and were looking at just using a 450r frame and the 450f motor..so my question to yall is do we need to modify the frame any to fit the motor?it'll be my first time building a quad and he's built them ground up from when he use to race but never a hybrid so any help will be appreciated.

hasent been a whole lot of 450r hybrids. its just like any other hybrid build get a motor and frame and go from there. you will run into many issues along the way but thats the fun part.

Your going to have to make new motor mounts. And I would figure out what angle the 450f motor sits in the frame and make it the same in the trx frame.

Making sure the sprockets line up is also a problem on most builds like that.

So would it just be more price efficient to buy a frame already built to have the 450 motor put in it or just use the 450r frame and just make the new motor mounts?
