Looking for help.
I'm trying to install Armadillo Skid Plate #AR-709.
On a '05 TRX400EX. I ordered for a '05 and this is what was sent to me.
"What is the piece of 'strap Aluminum (at the TOP of the pic) Used for and where on the plate does it go"?

Possibly between the spacers?

Why? And, engine-side or outside of the plate?

"It is used to lower the skid plate to gain extra sprocket clearance. It goes between the rear of the skid plate and it's mounting points. Usually not need it unless you have a larger rear sprocket"

I just put the same plate on mine. Great skidplate, tough as nails but no ground clearance at all. I hope you run 22 inch tires if you ride any place rutted out.

Thanks for the tip for TALLER wheels and tires.
