400ex front end questions

Ive got a 2001 400ex and I'm wanting to to change the a-arms to 04 Trx a-arms and shocks, will I need to change spindles and tire rods as well? And can anybody give me some pros and cons about this? Thanks

It's not possible to change to 450R a-arms as they will not bolt up to the frame.

The TRX450R shocks will bolt up after some modification to your EX's top shock mounts.

If you are referring to changing out to 400EX a-arms, they never changed.
