Ebay is the best place to buy them, I see swingarms with complete axle and hubs for 250 shipped once in a while.

Yeah, Ive been searching around on there, but ones that arent way pricey are really beat up. Usually the people on here are more reasonably priced, so was hoping to find someone on here that had a nice one for a good price.

But I will keep my eyes open on ebay and here. Thanks for the reply!

Not sure if a 05 450r will work but I got one for sale. Less then 30 hours on cheap

An 04/05 450R swingarm will work. The 450R carrier is narrower, so you will have a 1/8" gap on the left side of the swingarm when you install (for chain alignment). M@ul Tech ATV has a spacer to take up this gap, or you can just tighten the pinch bolts and keep an eye on it so it doesn't shift.

i thought the 450r swinger had a diggerent geometry for the rear shock mount in both it`s versions. i`m only chiming in because I just replaced mine and held out for like a month watching and watching this site, ebay.... I ended up with a mint LSR for 200 plus shipping. Just want to give you a word of encouragement on the search because it`s tough waiting and seeing the quad sit rear end less. good luck bud!

The 06+ 450R swingarm is different; it is about 3/4" longer between the pivot bolt and the area where the linkage mounts. The 04/05 450R swingarm uses the same geometry as the 400EX. I was also skeptical, but at one point I had all 3 beside each other to measure and verify.

I agree, it's great to hold out for a good deal on a part, but it's hard to wait!

Yeah I found a Prestine 05 swingarm with guide and stuff for $75. Didn't think that was too bad
