Get a hold of an impact for the air compressor ;)

$110 Snap-On ratchet works for me! That, or Mr. Ingersoll-Rand.

When you finally get them off, put some SOLID anti-sieze on the studs. Not the goopy, greasy kind that you put on with a brush, but the kind that comes in a stick. That stuff also works well on stainless bolts for anyone who's ever sheared them off because of a slight burr.

Just get a breaker bar to get them loose. If they don't come off with a breaker bar than you better get a welder......

Nothing like having your nuts in a bind:eek:

The easiest thing to do would be to use an impact wrench on it with a socket that's specifically made for air guns (thicker, hardened steel sockets). That should get them off for you. If that's not a possibility than get a breaker bar with an impact socket and slip a 3-foot piece of pipe over the breaker bar. If that doesn't work than Sawz-all the axle in half, remove axle, purchase new axle, hubs and rims and you should be all set.

Yes, use never sieze on them, and do not over tighten them. good and snug is plenty. I think 47 ft pds is correct. Once i got a torque wrench, I realized i had been overtightening alot of bolts.
