I was thinking about getting a ccp steering stabilizer for my 400. I see they are almost $200 now and was wondering if they were really that beneficial.

I do mostly trail riding (agressive) and some track (just for fun).

So, basically is the CCP seem like it would be worth the $200 for the kind of riding I do??

Thank you, Nick

Here ya go, there's an entire thread of reviews and feedback on it. I have one and love it, and for the price you can't go wrong compared to other "puck" style stabilizers.

The guy actually didnt have any listings on there last time I talked to him. He just told me to email him whenever I decide to get one.

His email is customcncparts@yahoo.com if you want to contact him. It's $194.00 shipped he said.

That guy with the listings for these on ebay also told me that he now has the puck with one adjustment for the whole steering range and one with two adjustments one for the middle steering and the other for sharper steering. Which one is better???

How do these stabilizers hold up in constant mud and water?

They are pretty much a solid chunk of aluminum with 1 hole in it for the arm to come out of, and it has a seal around it. So they aren't going to have any problems in the mud and water. And as for the 2 versions, it's basically up to rider preference if you want more adjustability..... or if you have more money to spend I guess.
