Hey guys, I'm almost done with my 250R build but Im missing an important part. It's an aftermarket PRP frame with built in pro-peg mounts. It looks like the big companies don't make nerf bars for the 250R based pro-peg frames. Do we have any options besides finding used beat up nerfs on e-bay? Thanks for the info!

AC racing still makes them and LSR still daoes too, I'm not sure who else does. You will have to call ac racing to order them, and I think rath racing mite even still make them to. I hope this helps ya out.

I don't think AC racing and lonestar makes pro peg nerf bar's for the pro peg frames anymore. I have already looked into it a few weeks ago and found out that Rath racing will make you custom nerf bars if you give them a few measurements.

I think the ac racing pro peg nerf bars are the ones that have the bolt on pro peg mount that you can bolt on to any frame that has foot peg bolt holes.

When I ordered my skid plate for my LSR frame from ac and asked them for new Nerfs for my pro pegged LSR frame and they said it would be a few weeks but that they still do them. And LSR does to because they still make and sell the frames that way.

I guess one of the guy's at lonestar lied to me when I asked him about nerf bars for my lonestar pro prg frame a few weeks ago and he said no.

I did not know AC is going to make nerf bars for pro peg frames, I also asked ac a few weeks ago and they said no...lol

What is the spacing of your pro-peg tubes center to center?

I have 2 brand new sets of nerf bars, one set for a pro peg frame, the other is for a 88-89 stock frame, I'll compare the two tomorrow to see if there is a difference between the tubes. They are both from ac racing, I bought them a couple of years ago and haven't used them yet.

ok here are the measurements with pictures :

Looks like the front and rear tube are pretty much 18 inches apart on the dot :

The front tube comes out from the bottom frame rail out about 6 3/8 inches:

The rear tube come out from the bottom frame rail about 3 inches:

Can anyone get the same measurements from a Laeger, Roll, and LSR pro-peg frame so we have a reference to go by. Thanks everyone!

That would be great!! it would be interesting to know how far apart the tubes are for a stock 88/89 250R. If its close enough, maybe we can modify stock ones..

My LSR frame that I bought brand new from LSR at the end of last year is setup to run their DC-Pro nerfs, basically a pro peg setup. I just went out in the garage and measured, they are about 21.5" center to center. I believe the DC-pro nerfs are generic, meaning the nerfs themselves are the same, they just use different brackets to mount them to each quad. If that is the case, they probably won't be able to help you as your bars are 18" apart. Wouldn't hurt to call and ask, but I am willing to bet that is what their answer will be.

Best bet would be to give AC Racing a call. If no luck with them, start calling nerf manufactuer's and see what they can do.
