my 400 runs on reserve, not switched to on

Ok dont tell me to check the fuel! :) the tank has gas in it. The quad runs great on reserve....flip it to on, and run it down the road full bore and it when coming to a stop it dies and i cant get it started. Flip it back to reserve, fires right back up. What gives here? Thanks for any advice.

Drain the fuel out of the tank, take off the petcock and clean it. Its clogged.

Yup there is a filter screen on there, that could be clogged but more then likely the little pipe is clogged or something. Its sounds like an ez fix either way..
