I figure its about time to upgrade my 04s suspension. I'm on a budget of course so what's some good shocks or whatever else for a decent price to help out with the ride. And I plan on getting a new rear axle (mine has play due to spoons being worn) and what's a good budget axle, an after market or just back stock. If so after market what's some names. I've looked on eBay but don't know what's worth it and not. Thanks in advance.

What type of riding do you do and what do you weigh? Do you want to widen the quad, or stay stock width? What's your budget? I'm a big fan of GT Thunder linkages, along with a revalved and resprung stock rear shock. For the front, HLS essentials or stock 450R fronts revalved and repsrung work great.

I trail ride a lot and I would like to widen in the future but that's a little too much for me at the moment I believe. Well from what I've seen online at all of the prices and I weigh around 200 and my ole lady rides with me a little also. I have the linkage on the back from gt thunder ill probably get the rear shock resprung and I'm pulling toward 450r shocks right now. Get me a new set on eBay. What year 450 shocks work? All? And I would like a widened axle eventually so I might get one this go around. Just need a good brand for a good price.

Tusk axle.

like $180 and a lifetime warranty.

I agree with Dustin. GT Thunder A arms $400, HLS front shocks, $500, and then how ever much a revalve for the rear is.

Thats pretty cheap considering your getting a arms too.

450R shocks are decent too, because your already getting a little upgrade, then you can upgrade them even more...and more...and go all the way to long travel if you wanted eventually.

YFZ works great for me! I belive they're alot stiffer than the 450rs though so if you're riding slow with the old gal then the 450r might be smoother. But if you are riding faster and jumping I think the YFZ are better.

I've got the HLS shocks on the front of mine and the GT link with a reworked rear shock that I love.

Would highly recommend the HLS shocks, plus the reworked rear shock...
