I have a 450 R front master cylinder and the 450R break set up on plus 2 A-arms, do I get break lines for the 450R or the 250R? whats the total length I should run?

Also I have a 39mm airstriker carbr, is there different types of cables with ends? If so what kind do I use?

Get 250r brake lines. Reason is, the 450r has an off-center mounting position and one of the lower lines will be longer than the other.

thanks i want to run 2 lines how long should they be? i think 50 inches is 2 short. i have a new set but their an inch to short but they have a split in the middle were it mounts to the frame putting my first woods bike togeather. looks good so far i try get some pics. so 250r lines will work w 450r brakes

ahhh i thought they were same length

as long as the calipers and master cylinder have the sme fitting then your good, i was not sure about that either so i said 450r lines...

braden why do you want to run two lines? instead of one to a t connector?

my opinion is that two brake lines by the handle bars give you 1 more problem if you happened to get snagged on something..mor elevarage to snap the bolt that holds the two lines. two lines are great for a street race bike with huge calipers...

do what you want though.

No the slide is supposed to close fully...Did you read what I said about motionpro having the cable you need most likely...

if you got it on there is the throttle adjustment all the way in? if it is and the slide is still open a fair amount then youll need another cable.. but if you can get the slide close to closed with that cable youll be ok as long as the bike stalls out with the throttle cable adjusted all the way in... then back it out till it idles.. thats how i set my idle. I rarely use the idle screw..

if you adjust all that and it runs but the idle is too high then youll need to get a cable..
