rear air shocks or shaw type shocks

Whos got expereince using one of these lighter style shocks on the rear of their bike?

Im looking into changing to a lighter style rear shock instead of revalving the works performance shock i have.

any have some expereinces to share how the bumps are soaked up with a shaw or with one of these air shocks available?
