Well, I figured there would be a thread in this section by now. But since there is not, I'm going to go ahead and start it myself.

Just goes to show that 450cc's are not a requirement in XC racing. The extra power and speed is nice to have, but not always the right recipe for success at the end of a couple of hours of thrashing through the woods.

Hell ya! SICC 400ex baby!

He spent some serious time on getting that thing dialed in.

I dont know how he overalled it, esp at Big Buck because Fowler, Kiser and all them guys said it was a super fast track but there was not many line choices.

So he must have been on the f*cking move!

There was a guy on the line with us at round 1 that put down laps only 2 min slower than the fastest PM guys.

He's a local indiana racer, He rides on former XC1 pro Racer Todd Demaree's race team
"SICC" or Southern Indiana Cross Crountry.

He's a badass.


Todd has some great guys on his team. Last year it was Garon Davis racing the Sport Class 15+ and he killed it.

05dodgedakota: Usually (i dont know abour River Ranch) they add extra trails and extend the track for the PM race. I would say they did at River Ranch also because if you look at Traci Cecco's lap times they are pretty close to Borich's, and she is fast, not taking anything away from her but she isnt Chris Borich fast.

They might not at River Ranch though, im not sure.

There was no added trail other than the pro pits, just the Florida track gets knarley with whoops and ruts

Worked or not, the 400 guys have no issues holding thier own in the woods if they know how to ride-least where I go.
