Black smoke

I got this wheeler . Idk if it's jetted right of not it's got k@n filter but I left the cover on and a white brother r4 pipe. I noticed when I rev it up almost to rev limiter it will puff black smoke, so I thought maybe to much fuel. But when I'm riding and hold it to the bars up a hill it starts to bog out and die so I have to pull in the clutch and rev it up . What's wrong with my jetting?

Sounds like it's jetted too rich on the main jet.

Keep reducing the size of the main jet in one step increments until it no longer bogs.
