Ran a best of 9.6 at 65. I was full throttle launching in 2nd gear. It would bog out then take off. Too much traction for a change. Also was on the rev limiter at the traps. Gonna get a 36 tooth rear and give it another try.

Try 20" tires or 22's. They will give you more top speed

By it is much more expensive to buy larger aphalt tires vs. a new rear sprocket

I ran 8.83 with 22in tires and 14/39 gearing.

I was only in 4th gear.

I would get 16/36 if I were using 18's, you really need to launch 1st gear if you can, you just have to launch and almost while losing traction shift to second gear.

Launching in first I wheelied everytime, gearing is too low for that currently. No way in hell I could clear a 16 tooth front, and I don;t need that much more gear.

You might have been faster if you were able to use 5th. I know my motor likes to be short shifted, most 4t do. I had to wind out each gear to make it down the track without hitting the limiter in 5th before the finish line lol.
