Has anyone put one on yet?? It seems to be a shorter throw and maybe a touch softer. My son has rode his drr's for hours with Honda thumber's and never complained, but this lil' Raptor 125 his thumb has been hurting... If so will stock cable work?

Honda thumb throttle will work fine with stock cable.

thanks I'll have to dig one out of the 250r parts. Also is it the 300ex axle or the hubs that will fit? I have honda bolt pattern wheels everywhere and what to switch?

I know the rear rims are 4/115 bolt pattern not sure on the front.
I used a trx 90 thumb throttle.

We are using one from a honda 450r, they are easier than the 250r's.

Yes the 300ex hubs fit with a little help. At least they do on the 250.
You'll need to machine about 26 hundreds off the inside of the hub where the washer/nut touch the hub. (this allows the nut to go on far enough to be able to line up the hole for the cotter pin to be installed. Next You'll want the get a round bar file to just touch the inside of the splines in the hub. (they are just barely to tall which makes for a tight fit.
I've got an extra set already done I'd sell you...... They are powdercoated blue and in great shape. I've gotta get $75 plus shipping (thats what I paid for them on good ole eBay - before the machine work.
We put our old stock 18" DRR tires and steel rims on our 250.
