What's up fellahs. Boatin seasons here and i'm lookin at buying a 1979 24' Century (w/cuddy cabin). It needs pretty much all new interior and a mild tune up (350). I know a little about boats and can pretty much work on anything. Anyone have any tips? I also wanna repaint the big sob too.

have fun paying for fuel... I sold mine last year cuz it cost me $300 every time I went fishing....I guess its not as bad as the guy I used to work for.... his had 3 helicopter motors and it cost him $4000 for 3 hours.... it was the farthest I've ever gone in 3 hours though

Holy crap. That's awesome, but it kinda looks like you would have to have your a game on to keep from running over anybody.

Back to the question. There is no end to fixing up a boat the way you want it, especially an older boat. Decent paint will set you back a pretty penny as well. Id say run it and enjoy it the way it is, or at least avoid putting money in it as much as possible.

If it flies floats or ****s, youre better off renting than owning.
