Are the YFZ 2009-2012 front calipers the same as 2004-2008?

As long as it isnt a YFZR your good doc bones...They started remaking the original YFZ(non efi version) last year or something thats probably why your finding 09 and up calipers...Just make sure it isnt from the YFZR(efi version quad)

and to awnser your question as long as its not the R model the calipers from 04-08 and 09-12 should all be the same...

Also note the new yfz has single piston calipers

The new re-released one beastly? Cause if so doc bones your gonna want to get the 04-08 calipers because they are dual piston just like the 250r...

Just picked up a set of 09`s and they are dual piston.

Re-released 2012 YFZ def has single piston calipers.

Yep one of the ways they were able to lower the price is to put single piston calipers on it

i was just surfing around here saw your post and said what up!

came across the thread talking about allowing 250r's to race in everything but pro and hoping they allow it in again because I think the value of the r's will skyrocket back to where they should be.

Ive been seriously considering parting out my R..

btw I have a complete R in parts except for front brakes and a-arms

Don't do it Bee I need someone around me besides those 4 pokes and if you need to sell something why not sell that Benz or the boat and keep the Leager :)

then bez is my dads and im fixing it borrowing it until i get the loot to fix my car.

that boat has just as much if not more class then the R including ford marine racing headers that are ONE OFF.. $5k headers... and besides I can drive 3-4 women around on the boat better yet in bikinis and they can all get wet. ;)
