Is it worth the effort to install a stage 2 cam on a stock internals motor?

I am itching to add a cam but I am stock internally.

If you got a stock motor you would be better off going with a stage 1. If you got the money id suggest putting a 11:1 comp piston in with a stage 2 then you will have a good strong motor.

I'd just go with a stage two right away even with a stock motor... Oh wait i did lol. Yeah it will work great with a stock motor!!

I was wanting to wait until it actually needed a full rebuild before tearing that deep into it.

Im gona say go for it im sure you will see some increase in power. I would wait though like awsome honda said till you have to adjust the valves or something.
