I have a 95 zx9r and the rod recently started knocking. Got it all apart and the crank is toast. Has anyone ever messed with having one repaired or something cause finding one is near impossible on ebay, OEM discontinued them. I'm out of options lol and any help is greatly appreciated!!

a lot of parts are cross compatible. go to a shop and ask what they can find. i found 1 on ebay with rods and pistons but the crank gear was missing a tooth and spun a bearing for $100.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kawasaki-ninja-zx9r-zx9-zx7r-engine-motor-crank-pistons-rods-96-97-95-94-98-/360448369127?hash=item53ec65a1e7&item=360448369127&pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr

all i could find. all kawasaki oem parts sites said the crank was discontinued.

yea 94-97 is the same, havent found anything for those years. i found a company who claims to be able to repair it, but its in cali and id have to ship it there. looks like thats what im gonna have to do. i got this bike for cheap so even with that ill be coming out ahead in the end.

from what i can tell in some quick pictures i looked up those cranks seem to be built like an automotive crank...With that being said a good machine shop should be able to either grind your crank undersize and find a set of under bearings or weld it up and grind it back to oem specs. I know your close to cincinnati, you shouldnt have to send the crank to Cali to get that done.
