should i go with a aluminum folding or an aluminum fixed shifter..

Well the chances are that nothing is going to hit your lever to need it to fold, but maybe you're looking for one because that happened to the stock one lol. Whichever one feels more comfortable, I like the fixed one.

I like the folding ones, that way you cant get snagged on it too easily. I have an IMS folding lever.

The aluminum one will bend very easily.
