My new wheels are a 3+5 offset i beleive, and it looks like they are going to stick out farther than what i thougt. So i'm looking to widen the front some more, and i don't feel like buying more a-arms... Looking for something cheap, wondering about spacers, extended hubs, wheel flip?

What kind of tricks do you guys have for me?

Spacers or extended hubs are your best bet, but they may break if you ride hard. DO NOT FLIP YOUR RIMS! Actually I don't think it would make that big of a difference on the back, but just don't do it, back or front. It makes it look retarded and makes the quad ride and perform way worse.

No way i'd flip the backs there not duel beadlocks.

If you aren't already you could get some 3+2 offset up front. Also remember any spacers or extended hubs or 3+2 rims will take away some of the handling.

Hating to spend to much, but if its going to look to weird i guess i just may have to.

It'll probably come out even i guess...

$50 est. for powdercoat, $100 for spacers..

$150 est. for 2 dwt rims, $12 to put them on.

+ gas... lol

Flipping rims is fine if they are just drilled and not counter sunk "like stock" where the bolt goes, most after market rims are just drilled.

I ran off set 10 in front rims without any issues and it made the front nice and wide to accomodate my new rear rims that were slightly wider.

I hit doubles and tabletops just fine and it actually made handling better.

I guess handling better or worse is a matter of opinion between riders.

I flip the rears and fronts for drag racing because I can afford a shorter axle or smaller a-arms at the moment, makes it nice and narrow with the flip.

I've already got nice a-arms, don't want to replace them with cheapys.. and don't want to spend 400.

ive also got an extended axle, the setup is great for stock rear wheels, but ive got a differant offset where the back are going to stick out a little... I want to even it up (like said in the 1st post)

That's interesting that you're having that problem. I also have an extended front and rear with offset rears and stock offset fronts. When on the stand the rear is wider but the front widens out when it's on the ground. You could adjust your ride height and caster/camber and see if it helps any, I doubt it will but it may improve the handling a little bit if anything.

Lol you don't want that problem! My buddy's 400 had a +2 durable axle and stock front end when he bought it, had a hell of a time in the bush with it! Handled like crap too, finnally after owning it for more than a year he ordered some 2 inch spacers for the front and we popped em on, and man it works so much better for him!

When you sit on the quad the front will widen a good bit, like an inch.

So long as the back isnt drastically wider your ok.

x2, it's all about ride height if the difference is minor. You'll get even more width when cornering which is when you'll need that anyways.

Are you sure you didn't mean 3+2 offset? That is really close to stock I believe.

Depending on which axle you have, you can cut about 1/2" off the rear hubs. To make up for the difference, order an extra spacer to put between the hub nut and hub. I've done this a couple times. Just have to make sure you have enough of the splines left.

GTT arms are not cheapies lol. I've been putting a beating to them and they hold up great! I don't think they sell them for $400 anymore tho cause they sold em
