Stabilizer questions

HOw can u tell if its time for a stabilizer rebuild? Cause when i have the steering stabilizer turnt the whole ways to hard, it moves freely. But i have a denton stabilizer. So where could i get a rebuild kit for mine if i needed it?

I would think the best way to check if you needed a rebuilt stabilizer would be to turn it to where you typically use it, ride for about an hour, then take it completely off and see if you notice a difference without it.

Im sure there is prolly an easier way, but if nothing else that would get the job done.
