I finally got my Lobo finished! I want to say a big thank you to Jason at Fourwerx for his awesome carbon fiber products, and his support of the 250r community. Also thanks to the many members here who have sold a number of great parts as well as given great advise along the way. Enjoy the pics and please comment/critique, because there are always new and better ways to improve a build!

Thanks, Marc

Very clean build! Not overdone and not underdone. Well thought out. Sweet NACA front hood on the fullbores.

Nice Marco, sorry about flipping it over in the sand when you had your head turned, but anyway I had a great time we all need to do this again some time.

That thing is sweet, only thing that I'm not a big fan of is how your front shocks are mounted. Just looks a little off with the rezzies over there.. I'm just being picky.lol.. really nice though.

i never seen anything like the setup for the steering stem bearings that bolt on like that. guess because it's a narrow frame?

Yep, the Lobo chassis was designed so narrow on that bottom frame rail that there is not room for the nut underneath.

Yea Glen Schlude is Dustin wimmers old mechanic for team Suzuki. I am sure he made one hell of a caliper it looks to have air cooling fins built in also to help keep it cool under heavy use.

VERY nice build my man. I have really kicked around the idea of putting one of those hoods on my Walsh YZ hybrid, it's got one of the scooped hoods on it right now.

Did you make the hoses? they give a clean look. Where did you get them?

SilverLake250R
04-17-2012, 06:09 AM
The hoses are SS braises -12AN size, you can order them from an automotive place like Summit. I have black billet hose clamp covers for it, but they are too hard to work with since the hose is so stiff already, so I just ran regular SS clamps. I'm happy enough with how it turned out.
