oil injection removal

Sorry if this is old hat, but I did try a selarch and didn't have much luck. I want to remove the pump. Thanks in advance.

Remove pump and plug hole with a small rubber freeze out plug. Replace dual throttle cable with a single cable and run pre mix.

Any tricks or pitfalls getting to the pump?

No just remove the plastic cover the cable goes through. If needed you can remove water pump.
