I was hoping someone would have all of the part numbers for the bearings and seals to rebuild the bottom end since the parts breakdown isn't very clear.

I don't have them memorized, which bearing is this? If it's the shift drum, I wouldn't worry about it.

I realize it's only a few bucks, but I often don't replace the bearings for the shift drum and such. They're not spinning all the time like the crank, transmission shafts, and counterbalance bearings. They almost don't need to be bearings at all, the engineers could have probably put bushings in those places.

If something goes out in the tranny and it's full of metal shavings, yes, I'll replace those bearings. But they don't even see 1/1000 of the rotations that the other bearings see, so I often just leave them alone.

Man I hope you aren't in any hurry to get your parts. Service Honda has got to be one of the butt slowest places I've ever ordered from. Took over 2 BUSINESS weeks to get my parts and there wasn't a holiday involved either.

Service Honda doesn't stock anything. You order from them, they call and get the parts from one of the Honda warehouse's, the warehouse then ships the parts to Service Honda, and they then ship them to you. The main Honda warehouse is nearby to Service Honda, so it only takes a couple of days for Service Honda to get the parts. One of the warehouse's is out west, so if your part comes from there, add a few more days to get you order. Sounds like your parts had to come from the warehouse out west. I have even had parts that were on backorder, so Honda didn't even have them, more time there.

It takes Service Honda just over a week to get parts to me, unless they have to come from the west warehouse, then about two weeks. Yes, they do take extra time, but I have found no where else that comes even close to their pricing, so I will continue to deal with them. If I need something in a hurry, I will go to my local dealer, they can have it in two days, but it will cost me twice as much.

91002-HA2-003 Is also discontinued now. Do these main bearings, (91008-KAE-731) have 8 balls?
