alright i got new OEM breaks for my 400 about a month ago and they did not fit back on for beans! So i did the dumbest thing i could think of and whipped out the BFH and knocked them on. the first hour i rode that day i made my rotor red from friction.ROter aint warped! but now the dang thing wont stop!

you think the heat hurt them?

oh and dont think i did this completely wrong yes i took off the cover and i bled the brakes afterwards.

sounds like you either got the wrong pads or the piston in your caliper wasnt compressed enoughduring install , as far as your pads you prbably glazed them with the heat you can try takink them back off re scuffing the pads with 220 grit sandpaper or a wire brush and cleaning them with alcohol.
