What's up Guys? I was wondering what brand of skid plate everyone is running in Motocross? I've tryed some of those plastic/molly or what ever they are and have not had good luck. They just dont last like the aluminium ones do. So any input will be appreciated. Thanks

What do you mean by not having good luck? I run the mxp poly/plastic one and it is great.

torn a hole in them before, due to rider error. lol. the mxp skid is a great skid, I was just looking for somthing stronger.

Rath has one that only covers half the chassis, but couldnt find any pics!!

If anyone has the Rath trx 450r mini chassis skid and could post a pic of it mounted up i would really appreciate it!!

I'll look around at the different company's, and see what they have to offer.

Thanks

I run a Janssen poly skid and love it...
I ran a full MX season on it last year and it still looks brand new

I have the old Tag poly skid that looks just like the Janssen. Been on for two or three (can't remember) racing seasons and is holding up great. I will never get another aluminium skid again.

i destroyed one of those in a couple races, before and after the Jansen i ran a maier and had very good luck with it. I'd much rather give my money to a family company like janssen though so maybe they have improved them!
