Just wandering if a 2008 400ex a arm will fit a 2005 400ex because i'm ordering one tonight if it does? I wasn't quite sure if they changed the length or anything of the newer a arms.

I would think so cuz the frame is the same so they couldn't have changed the a-arms.

For anyone interested, the 400ex frame is the same frame period. They only changed plastic mounting points.

As long as this a arm off an 08 bolts up to my 05 400ex, I'm happy. You guys wouldn't know if i would have to torque the bolts on the a arm or if i can just hand-tighten them would you?

I could tell you if i walked out to the shop and got my clymer book but i'm lazy. I'd say just get them tight with a 1/2 drive rachet. btw why would you buy new stock a arms? Aftermarket +1 or +2 stock travel don't cost that much.

Yeah, well my stocker has a dent in it and it makes it sit oddly in the mounts. Plus im missing one of the bushings. So i was just looking for another stock one and i found one for 33 bucks on ebay shipped. I don't have the money to get any extended a arms yet unfortunatley. :ermm:

Just make'em tight, thats what i do and its always worked.

Only thing that I torque properly is engine stuff, everything else unless its a super small bolt and its weak by design gets tight. And by tight I mean I yank on it a good bit.
