Has anyone ever sent 450r shocks to Jet or has anyone purchased their shocks? They seem very reasonable and have discounts and I am looking to have my 450r fronts rebuilt and my 400ex rear rebuilt. I am also looking to get the GTT XC link. If anyone has any info or are familiar with them, let me know. Thanks in advance!

I have had good experience with GT Thunder but i heard Jet might be better. GTT is like $250 with the link for the rear shock and im not sure what Jet charges for the rear

I talked to nick @ jet on the phone, he is a REALLY nice guy and answered everything I asked. If I hadnt found a derisi revalve and GTT link used I was going to do the entire thing thru them.

GTT does good work, but I have heard they are slow and sometimes dont setup the shocks for your weight properly.

You could also contact Dustin_J I know he does suspension work.

I sent my 400ex rear shock and had it all redone by JET and so far ive been happy with it. this is the first time sending a shock anywhere to be redone so I cant really compare to anyone else. I had it revalved for my weight and got the dual rate spring setup which is suppose to be "better for XC than a single rate", but I dont know if it really is or not. I think at the end it costed me around 400$ I think? If I ever get another shock revalved or something I may try GT Thunder or something.

dual rate shocks are nice, you bottom out less and when you do its with less velocity than single rate.

They seem to be pretty good. Won't be doing it for awhile but I can't decide of if they will be going to Jet or GTT

So what do you guys think? I ride and race XC so should I go with single, dual, or triple? Im looking to do this pretty cheap but I still want a huge improvement in suspension. And if anyone has a XC GT link for sale let me know. Thanks

Steve

I already have +2 haha. When I do it I'll probably go with Jet they seem reasonable. I also need to purchase a GTT link

450r shocks, they need to be shortened and setup but are worth it.

I have those too lol. Jet would do that when I send them in, right?
