I was just wondering if anyone has tried a 45 pilot on their quad, I have a 42 now but I'm about 3 turns out, so I was just curious if anyone has tried that or not.

If its still popping you could have an exhaust leak.

Yea its still popping alittle on idle it did have a small backfire on mewhen I shut it off, kinda burped back, over the weekend after some spirited track riding so I thought i might still be a little lean?or will a exhaust leak cause that as well?

Yea. Turn it on and take your hand and hold it against the exhaust and listen for air hissing out. Also look at any joints in the exhaust to see if you have black carbon build up.

All sure signs of a leak. Seal the leaks with copper rtv.

If no leak try upping the main jet to a 160-see if it goes away.

When I ran my ex carb with a 42 pilot I always got a little bit of popping when I shifted down or let off at a high rate of speed.

Ok cool I was wondering if rtv would help but only the copper stuff I guess. I'll up the main again ill Probly try a 162 just to see how it runs, and go down if I need to

I like the copper rtv the best, stands up to heat the best imho. The orange one works too but not as well.
