So I ran a harescramble yesterday and ended up having a pretty rough go at it. About half way through I was pounding some whoops in second gear and caught a tree root with my swingarm skid that stopped me dead. Then I started to go again in 1st gear and tried to switch into 2nd. I had nothing in 2nd gear...engine just spun. All of my other gears are fine except for 2nd. How big of a job is it to tear apart the transmission on a 2008? Also, would you guys suggest the GTT front shocks or revalved 450r shocks with the GTT arms? Thanks

Its not that difficult but its not an easy task. Gotta tear apart the whole thing pretty much to do it. An experienced mechanic could knock it out in a few hours. Chances are you may have broke some teeth on 2nd gear if anything.

As for shocks, you want to spend the cash do the +2 arms and buy GTT HLS shocks. Want to save a bit do the arms and rework the front shocks.
