Are Z-400 a-arms and shocks the same as 400ex A-arms and shcoks????

i just want to know this because i have a freind that will sell me his Z-400 Stock front end so that i can do that conversion thing n my 300ex?

i am wondering sort of the same thing too. a guy i know might buy my works shocks and put them on his Z and i wanna know if they'll fit or he'll need them revalved or somethin.

EX and Z suspension components aren't the same. They look similar yes, but the same, no.

are the a-arms the ame???? and if i were to buy this front end, would the shockmount i got work with these shocks?

no you would have to make the a-arm mounts wider. were the a-arms connect to the frame they are much wider on the z400 than the 400ex. also the shock geometry is different, the z shock is a bit longer i believe.
