I was wondering if anyone knew any info on this upgrade or has done it, I want to upgrade the stopping power for the back wheels and wanted to know how easy or difficult of a job this was?

^ That thread should help you out a good bit and might have some reviews on it.

yep ive got a honda 450r rear brake on mine. you need the 450r caliper, brake stay (piece that the caliper bolts to), hub and rotor. feels a little more firmer than the stock 400ex brakes to me. the brake pads are SUPER EASY to change and last a little longer. the main reason I did it was cause I gained like an inch of ground clearance because of the smaller rotor.

I also did the conversion on mine and I have SS lines. You can deff. notice a change in how much control you have with the 450R brake vs. the stock one. Plus like already said the pads are easier to change and last longer, and the added ground clearance from the smaller rotor (even though I still run a low hanging guard) is a plus. It's deff. a worthwhile switch if you're looking for a little more from the back brakes. Here's a pic of my setup, I also have the Durablue anti-fade brake hub/locknut so it looks cleaner and helps keep the heat down.
